Either the armor/clothing or the weapons are affected sometimes even both. In the pipboy their icons are all pink and when equipped they take the form of a red exclamation mark (texture problem I know).
My armor/clothing and weapons get affected too. After fast traveling to Rivet City or even as I would say going even near it till the Jefferson Memorial texture and mesh problems start-up Either the pipboy map goes all pink or the pipboy markers on the map go pink. The problem I have is that it seems to always occur near Rivet City.
